Introduction
Hello! I am Deborah Carter, a Senior at Mount Healthy High School. In the Fall, I'll attend Tuskegee University, majoring in Biology. Later, I plan to go to medical school to become a pediatrician with a specialty in neuroscience. Recently, I was honored with the opportunity to become a Cotillion Debutante under the Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter (CAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Inc.
Since 1993, CAC’s Debutante Cotillion Program has awarded nearly $175,000 total in scholarships to qualifying participants. These scholarships assist high-achieving students in pursuing their academic goals. By participating in Cotillion, teens can gain a platform to build networks, develop important life skills, and vie for academic scholarships. Debutantes also compete for the "Miss Debutante" Crown & Scholarship. Finally, Debutantes raise money through donations, journal ads, and program gala ticket sales. This money goes towards scholarships and the future Cotillion programs.
All donations are welcome! Your contributions will help me achieve my professional goals. Every donation helps as I prepare to transition into the next level of education These contributions also showcase your commitment to building up the Black Community. All contributions are welcome, regardless of size, as they positively affect the success of the scholarship program and my success as a college student. Thank you for your support!
